Having recently moved back home to Albury, and with over 30 years of Marketing and Advertising experience; working with WPP’s major clients at Grey Advertising, Ogilvy Worldwide and Geometry Global, Marcus’ career has taken him to many corners of the globe, with senior agency appointments in London, New York, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and most recently Seoul.
A background in global brand planning and retail marketing and a lifelong passion for competitive Ultra Marathon racing, Marcus has worked with some of the world’s leading brands and FMCG advertisers, Globally, Regionally and Locally; namely Samsung, Diageo, Prada, Lion, Heineken, LG, Kimberly Clark, Coca-Cola, Martini, Unilever, Goodman Fielder, General Mills, MAC Cosmetics and Blackmores.
Of particular note, Marcus was responsible for BAR Honda’s F1 global sponsorship, he repositioned Chrysalis Music’s network of radio stations across the UK, built Clear Channel’s (now iHeartmedia) multi-platform group activating their Entertainment, Radio and Digital Properties across the USA, built G2’s Agency network across Asia, and developed the Global Retail Marketing guideline for LG Electronics in Korea which rolled out in all key markets with success.
